HAMMRC Third Quarter 2026 Update
The HAMMRC Grant Project Cycle 1 checks were sent around July 1, 2026. The seven receiving organizations are working on their projects as they utilize the funds received. Community projects underway include an economic development initiative in Farmington; water testing in underserved areas of Adair County, OK; safety and security enhancements at the Boys and Girls Club of Adair County; a new diagnostic medical sonography program at ICTC in Stilwell; further development of a 9-hole golf course by the Stilwell Youth League; a new high school practical nursing program at the Tahlequah campus of ICTC; and improved efficiency and productivity at Precision Injection Molding in Tahlequah.
Project leaders will submit mid-year progress reports to the HAMMRC Board by Feb. 1, 2027 and final reports will be due by June 4, 2027.
One of the employees hired by Dave Cross of PIM is Bethany Brown of Stilwell. This article appeared in the Stilwell, OK Democrat Journal on July 30, 2026.
Wayne Mays reported on the HAMMRC grant project to the Stilwell City Council on August 3. He noted that Stilwell organizations received 4 of the 7 grants awarded. Several grant recipients were present for recognition.
Upcoming Events:
The HAMMRC Board of Directors will meet in Farmington City Hall on Dec. 18, 2026; the meeting was moved from Dec. 25 to avoid conflict with the Christmas Holiday.
